Erin Davids, DPT
Erin is originally from Endwell, New York. She attended the University at Albany where she played for the women’s soccer team and earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Biology. She continued on to earn her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the University of Pittsburgh where she also volunteered her time to provide strength and conditioning training to adaptive athletes. During her final year of graduate school, Erin completed a full-time clinical experience in an outpatient neurological PT clinic where she realized her passion for providing therapy to patients with neurological and vestibular impairments. She utilizes therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, gait training and education to help her patients optimize their level of function and return to the activities they enjoy. During her free time, Erin enjoys being outdoors, playing and watching sports, reading, and spending time with friends and family. Erin is happy to extend her services to patients as the Lead Physical Therapy at Mountain Valley Physical Therapy by developing individualized treatment plans that are centered around their goals.
Crystal DeMarco, PTA
Crystal grew up in Keno, Oregon. She moved to Redding and graduated from Enterprise High School. Crystal started a family while working in elderly care and also as a NASM certified personal trainer. In addition, she did bookkeeping for the landscaping business she owned with her children’s father. Crystal wanted to make a bigger difference in the world and to start a career using her elderly caregiving and personal training skills. This led her to join the first cohort of the PTA program at Shasta College. During Crystal’s time in the PTA program, she completed outpatient, skilled nursing, and aquatic therapy clinical rotations. Her primary focus and goal with her patients is to enhance longevity and quality of life through improvement of body mechanics and functional abilities while decreasing pain. In her spare time, she enjoys shooting, off roading, kayaking, singing, painting and, most of all, quality time with her 3 kids.
Vanessa Loomis, PTA
Vanessa was born and raised in Weaverville and graduated from Trinity High School. She worked at Mountain Valley Physical Therapy for several years in the front office and billing before she joined the Shasta College’s physical therapy assistant program. Vanessa is excited to be able to give back to her community by providing physical therapy care and education to our patients. Outside the clinic, Vanessa enjoys spending time with her family in the garden, tumbling rocks and crafting with her kids, and enjoying the amazing mountain wilderness we live in.
Kara, PT Tech
Kara is originally from Lodi. As a PT Tech, she especially loves working closely with our patients, seeing them recover and “graduate” back to their previous activities. While Kara has a background in banking and finance, she thoroughly enjoys the physical therapy field and plans to attend a Physical Therapist Assistant program in the future. She is a proud mother of two, and outside of work you will find her spending time with her kids going on hiking adventures, swimming, or making crafts.

Tracy has experience working in Health and Human Services in several counties and has also worked at a local health clinic. As a receptionist, Tracy is here to assist with scheduling appointments and greeting patients. In her spare time, Tracy enjoys spending time with her family and friends, hanging out at the river, going hiking, reading, and working on homesteading projects.
