Garret Gheen, MPT
Garret received his Master’s degree in Physical Therapy and his Bachelor’s in Health Science from Loma Linda University in 2004. Garret started his career in Southern California, developing new courses and curriculum for some of the latest physical therapy techniques before moving to the Redding area with his young family in 2007. He specializes in outpatient orthopedics and neck/back rehabilitation and has developed programs for total joint rehabilitation as well as a vestibular (dizziness) rehabilitation program. Garret also is an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist, certified through the American Physical Therapy Association. Garret is a devoted family man, and is active in sports and outdoor recreation including mountain biking, running, hiking, golfing, fly fishing, snowboarding, and surfing.
Kimberly, PT Tech
Kimberly was born and raised in Fairfield, CA, but has lived in Northern California for the past 10 years. She holds her certifications for clinical medical assistant and basic life support and has worked in the medical field since the age of 18 in various capacities including front office, nursing assistant, ER technician, and medical assistant before joining our team at Mountain Valley Physical Therapy. As a childhood cancer survivor, patient care holds a special place in her heart, which shines through in how she interacts with patients on a daily basis. Kimberly enjoys her spare time with her children, celebrating their accomplishments, hip-hop dancing, and playing co-ed softball year round in Redding and Weaverville.
Erica, PT Tech
Erica was born and raised in Weaverville and graduated from Trinity High School in 2017. After high school, she worked as a Spanish Aide at Junction City Elementary School exercising her passion for working with children. Sharing her knowledge of Spanish came easily for Erica as it is her second language. As a PT Technician, Erica keeps busy assisting patients with their exercises and setting them up with different treatment modalities. When she is not working or taking classes at Shasta College pursuing her career in social media marketing, Erica spends her free time traveling, playing softball, interacting with new people and growing her social media accounts. She is excited to be a part of the Mountain Valley Physical Therapy family and continue to work with people of all ages and backgrounds.
Diana is originally from Hayfork. After graduating from Hayfork High School and attending college to study business and marketing, Diana moved back to Trinity County to manage the thriving business her parents established in 1986. She has over 15 years of experience in business management and is a pillar of the community with many hours spent volunteering with little league, wrestling, and the Lions Club. Diana’s hobbies include fishing, hiking, kayaking and enjoying the beautiful mountains and lakes in the area. She is excited to be a part of the team at Mountain Valley Physical Therapy, and is happy to answer any questions you may have in a friendly and professional manner!
